Description
Belinda Montgomery is the loving and devoted matriarch of a very divided family. Though all of her five adult children reside in Southern Nevada, mainly Las Vegas, their lives are such that most of those Montgomery siblings haven't seen nor communicated with one another for years. But Belinda plans on changing all of that this upcoming weekend – Mother's Day weekend.
Belinda's plan is to invite to her home daughters, Clare and Vicky, along with her three sons, Dennard, Terry and Brandon, beginning on Friday evening, lasting until Sunday evening. That, being a task within itself, comes with strong resistence from mostly all of the siblings. However, Belinda entices them with the fact that it's Mother's Day on Sunday and she would like to spend it with her entire family. That, along with a "surprise" she has in store for each of her uneager children.
The retreat, though therapeutic comes with high prices to pay.
A reopening of old wounds, harsh feelings, the revealing of ugly secrets, unpleasant memories rekindled, tightly held grudges, and each one fighting personal 'demons' as well as attempting to keep closed, closets of individual skeletons clamoring to escape.
