So goes the legend of the ghost witch who lives up on Brewster's hill with Bloody Bones, her man-eating razorback hog. At first 13-year-old Daniel Anderson doesn't believe Brody Mason's crazy stories. He figures Brody is just trying to scare him since he's the new kid. But then Daniel's seven-year-old sister Erica becomes more and more withdrawn, talking to her look-alike doll. When she disappears into the woods one day, Daniel knows something is terribly wrong.
