Description
This memoir does not dwell on the hardships of a person with a permanent disability. It does, however, reveal many phases of growing up, and because of a disability, the out of the ordinary encounters one must face. What are missed from our lives are the small everyday things taken for granted such as not being able to dance, missing a man's arms around you, not feeling the closeness of his body. Never, ever. The lack of male attention, the vulnerability of being helpless, attitudes toward our not so perfect bodies all add up to many memories. Best of all, nothing is held back, let it all out. It's Okay to Blush.
